Structure for leadership
A governance model in customer service

What changes when leadership not only functions individually, but is thought of as a system?

EV Charging / Customer Service

Context: A growing company in the EV sector. 230 employees. 3 locations across 3 countries. The COO and a seven-person management team faced a classic growth problem: decisions were made twice or not at all. Information didn't reach where it was needed. Employees didn't know who was responsible for what. The organisation had outgrown informal coordination.

My contribution: Over 6 months, we built a governance model that clearly defined roles, decision authority and communication channels. New cross-location formats improved information flow across the 3 countries. Onboarding and training were aligned across sites rather than run three times in parallel.

Result: Information sharing between locations and countries improved measurably. Synergies in employee development were put to use. A management team of 7 people that had been working alongside each other started leading together.

An initial conversation?

All my engagements share a common starting point: an organization that has reached the limits of its own complexity.

Too many parallel decision-making paths, too little clarity regarding roles and responsibilities, or a period of growth that has overwhelmed existing structures.

I always begin with a diagnosis before taking any action.
